Candidates must file a Statement of Economic Interest (SEI) form with the Alabama Ethics Commission (AEC).  www.ethics.alabama.gov/soei.aspx Candidates who already have a current SEI form on file with the AEC do not have to file a duplicate statement.

May 28, 2025-Last day a person can become a resident of the Town of Ragland and district in order to become a candidate

June 10, 2025-Candidates may begin qualifying for municipal office at Ragland Town Hall-Town Clerk's Office.  The qualification fee for candidates seeking election is $50.00

June 19, 2025-Closed for Juneteenth Holiday

June 24, 2025-Last day to qualify for municipal office

July 27, 2025-Last day to establish residency to vote in municipal general election

August 26, 2025-ELECTION DAY!  Polls open 7:00 am-7:00 pm.  

If necessary, a Run-Off Election will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.


The newly elected administration will take office on Monday, November 3, 2025
